Why we fit Fox ESS: Europe's number one residential battery brand
When you are choosing a home battery, the brand name on the box matters more than most people expect. It decides who answers the phone if something goes wrong, who honours the warranty, and whether the company will still be around in ten years. So it is worth knowing that Fox ESS, the brand behind the batteries we fit, has been ranked the number one residential energy storage brand in Europe for the first half of 2026.
Who says so?
The ranking comes from EUPD Research, an independent research firm, in its Electrical Energy Storage Report for Europe, covering the first half of 2026. It is not a claim Fox ESS makes about itself; it is independent market research.
And it is not a one-off. In April 2026, S&P Global Energy named Fox ESS the number one global residential energy storage brand by market share for 2025. Frost & Sullivan reached the same conclusion in July, and InfoLink Consulting ranked Fox ESS first in global residential storage shipments for the first half of 2026. The company also holds EUPD Research's "Top Brand PV" certification for both inverters and energy storage.
A market that is growing quickly
The same EUPD report projects the European battery storage market will grow 78% year on year in 2026, reaching 57 GWh. Residential capacity is expected to rise from 11 GWh to 15 GWh, a 36% increase. More homes are adding batteries, and more of them are choosing Fox ESS than any other brand.
Why that matters for your home
A battery is a long-term purchase. The warranty runs for years, the app and monitoring platform need to keep working, and you want a manufacturer with the scale to support all of it.
